Welcome to Mortimer Pre-School

Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment that
encourages learning through play for children aged 2 to 5 years.

 The pre-school is warm and inviting, offering a caring and nurturing environment where children can play and learn. We offer a wide range of activities, including baking, gardening and messy play. We believe that the pre-school has a responsibility to provide your child with the following opportunities;

– To learn by doing and playing

– To make new friends and develop relationships

– Time and space to explore and experiment

– Self-confidence and independence

– To be interested, excited and motivated to learn

Mortimer Pre-ScHOOL

Mortimer Pre-school was started in 1964 and provides a play-based setting for pre-school age children. It is based in the heart of Mortimer at St. Johns Hall, which has good facilities and an outdoor play area.

Mortimer Pre-school values the support and input from parents and carers and there are many opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in their child’s pre-school education – through decision making by joining the committee or on a more practical level such as gardening.
